Long Gone 03:23
Since you left me you seem so happy now I wanna be happy for you but the truth is girl I feel so crappy now cause woman, I still adore you And it may seem like I'm doing all right Trying to keep my smile looking warm and bright Well you look so cute I just cannot refute when your free falling baby I'm your parachute And I'll catch you lady so I can say "I hope you come back to me one of these days" Our love is gone, Yes it's long gone I just can't hold on, anymore all of these sad songs are pouring out of my heart without your love, I'm so unsure I get so cold and lonely without you to hold at night If I could only hold and have you in my life Our love is gone, Yes it's long gone I just can't go on, anymore all of these sad songs are pouring out of my heart without your love, I'm so unsure I go to sleep in the night time with you on my mind when the morning comes girl your still on my mind Won't you come home now, I can't take it who's lookin' in your eyes girl who's seeing you naked I can't control my mind these thoughts are driving me crazy why ain't you with me, why ain't you still my baby Our love is gone, Yes it's long gone I just can't go on, anymore all of these sad songs are pouring out of my heart without your love, I'm so unsure

I don't fight for love I won't fight for you You ain't ready man I don't need that kind of bruise I don't fight for love, I ain't got that kind of time You ain't ready man, you ain't ready to be mine You ain't ready He says he likes my pace, my peace. My spine. He picks me like a grape, I'm tastin' like red red wine. We go into a pace that cannot be defined. Oh lord, his hand's up on my waste, I do not decline. Yah see I've seen that face before You wanna purchase what your heart can't afford. Naw, see your heart just can't afford Chorus He came over to me, bags full packed  He said he's leavin' and he ain't comin' back Something about those pale blues, leads me to think that shit ain't true I'm smellin' somethin' funny and it's comin' offa you(woo) Yea, see I've seen that face before, you wanna purchase what your heart can't afford No, see your heart just can't afford
3.
You can't love me like you used to No you can't care how you once did and I didn't mean to loose you love of mine Your building that tall wall up so that I can not get in I guess I can not blame you, no I can't lie And it's hard to keep your gaurd up when your trying to fortify with minerals you started to take in And you see me catch that train ride to come and see you once again just to look into your eyes and be denied Don't deny me Stand beside me Why don' t you try me Don't be so cold My heart is cryin' As I watch you leavin' Is there nothing I can say, to bring you home You can take my love for granted, you can take my love for fun But you can not take away what has been done All those moments you were lost and you had no where to run Straight into my arms, you would come When your heart was wrought in pieces, with a needle i did mend To let you know you'd always have a friend What you started to get over is the fight I can not win Why don't you open up your doors and let me in
4.
What's your deal I see your body standin' around Actin' like your too cool to be here Eyes planted, starin' at the ground, like a stoned soldier Sets a rage in me It's a storm, at this point, I'm wonderin' should I take your hand? Will you help me start a fire? I wonder What's Your deal I'm so beamed out Put your needle on my record, turn Let's make the roof on this mutha' burn down Oh baby wars are being taught, and love is being violated So I say, lively up yourselves Let it go on This is an old revolution Don't look back I wonder
5.
Sweetness 04:17
Is it Comin on down now Comin on through Said you like to hear it And that's when I told you All the chains are broken now I give my heart straight back to you tryin to take it slowly so you can get to know me Your mind is like an ocean I got lost in the tide I'm a driftin bottle now with the message stuck inside I'm hopin' that you find me somewhere on your shore Won't you pick me up and read me Put me in your story Sweetness, With your soft caress Child won't you undress Down to your spiritual best Your the finest Well excuse me Miss I think that your designed for me, I was made for your loneliness It was overstated blatant How I feel for you Turn my words into a seasoning You cooked into your soup And all those letters you tasted Why don't you sing them back to me If there was something wrong replace it with something true, with sincerity is it comin on down now Comin on through Said you like to hear it, Well I like to hear it too

about

Boo City’s first EP release AnchorTown features five polished gems wrought from the underbelly of the “Ocean State” they call their home. Diving into a sea of styles, these songs will keep you swaying to classic soul and rock arrangements, heavy bass lines, poignant lyrics, and stirring horn performances. This 5 song collection presents some truly magical and unheard material along with original tracks that were featured as remixes on their previous ‘mixtape’ album Midnight Folklore. There is a raw and emotional tenderness throughout these songs, evoking hope, sincerity, defeat and defiance all at once. Giving a nod to the sounds that inspire them, Boo City stays original; they are multifarious rebels who stay true to their music, the city of Providence RI, and the salty pirates that dwell in its port.
